Tail of the Snake

For many years, merchants would lead laden pack trains along a winding trail though the foothills below Mount Ilan. They would stop at the hot springs along the path and shelter in the natural caves found in the sandstone outcroppings. Then rumors began to reach the trade towns of scaled horrors emerging from the caves and hunting along winding path. In hushed tones they would speak of the Vrael (or Yuan-Ti) that drag man and beast away into the darkness. Now, only the very brave or the very foolish take the trail now known at the Tail of the Snake.
