The Caves of Light Deep in the Sea

There are strangely shaped caves deep in the sea. Created by the swarm intelligence of particular schools of stone eating fish. The creatures that live in this area of the sea are more intelligent, larger and tend to follow plans. This effect is further reinforced by the central locations of these two cave systems. The creatures of the deep sea ritually move to these places, gather strength, develop intellect and begin to glow.
Once this was a source of ratio, sanity and beauty. But the question arises what happens when an evil-disposed being enters this place?
